A few Wiki changes I've just made
You might noticed I've fiddled with the Doctor Who and Torchwood categories, and the dropped/retired pups to add dropped and retired categories.

What I've done is that if you go to the Doctor Who page on the Wiki the list of characters there are only the current ones. To see the dropped and retired ones, you then go to the dropped and retired pages. I've also put everyone in the Torchwood category into the Doctor Who category as well, since some people were in both and some weren't.

So it's now easier to see that we only have eight current characters in the whole Whoniverse. And easier for new people, or people wanting to play new characters, to work out who is available to play.

If anyone dislikes any of it, they are of course free to change anything, since it's a Wiki and any page is changeable by anyone (except for the ones that aren't).

Also, since Torchwood has a nice graphic on their canon page, can anyone find a nice Doctor Who graphic that encompasses the past 45 years? It would be nice if it was pretty too.

I think this is great, and I'm glad you did it so I don't have to. XD

That said, it's been a bit of a mess, but I think that Torchwood being a subcategory of DW is enough, and it's a bit of overkill to have the TW pups in both categories.

I did find all that subcategory stuff a mess, but I thought I'd best just keep the status quo.

Yeah, I totally see what you were doing, not placing any blame on you for the mess. I know it was already there. XD

Also, a "(Dropped)" category is a canon category, so you don't need an additional "(Retired)" category, since a retirement is a drop, and the character should already be in the "Retired Characters" category. I changed that, so everything should be kosher now.

OK. I just thought a retirement category would be useful to see who can and can't be apped. Although I did also think it would be a pain, so I was in two minds a bit about that.

Agreed. It could be useful, but at the same time, then someone (Read: Us mods, LOL) has to remember to switch the categories.
